Liqueurs date back as early as the 13th century. Historically, they were used as herbal medicines created by healers to cure a variety of medical ailments. Today liqueurs are a popular after-dinner drink and can be enjoyed over ice, neat, with coffee, as a dessert, and even in cooking.

Liqueurs are sweetened and unaged beyond a resting period during production to allow the flavors to mingle.

Gervasi Vineyard (GV) has a fine line of spirit offerings for its guests and has just added two more unique and flavorful liqueurs that will appeal to everyone’s taste and manner.

GV’s newest liqueurs include Citro and Giava, both add just the right amount of that “something special” to mixed drinks or as an after-dinner treat for guests. These liqueurs are for anyone looking to shake up their post-dinner beverage. (more…)

Gervasi Vineyard will be expanding with the addition of a 20,000 square feet project in two structures to be built in the southwest corner of the 55-acre estate. The construction of the diverse multiuse expansion is underway.  The Spa, The Wine Cave, product warehouse and distribution facility, and Rickhouse are the four components that will be taking shape.

The Wine Cave and Tasting Room will allow for a traditional wine tasting experience that isn’t mixed with a restaurant experience. The Spa is the number one request Gervasi staff hears from hotel and local guests. The Spa will provide an additional benefit for guests to visit the property and experience exceptional amenities and services. (more…)

Guests visiting Gervasi Vineyard (GV) for lunch, dinner, after-dinner drinks, special events, or overnight stays are used to seeing GV growing and expanding. Get ready for more growth because it’s happening again – this time it’s taking place at The Marketplace!

The Marketplace boutique gift shop, located on the property of the favorite destination winery resort, has expanded to add 2,000 square feet of unique shopping experience to meet the needs of its shoppers. The expansion connects to the existing building through the large North window of the store and is scheduled to open at the end of April 2022. (more…)

Spring is on its way. It’s the season when Ohioans and others around the country start craving fresh fruit flavors. Blueberry is one of those flavors that spirit enthusiasts at Gervasi Vineyard (GV) love.

GV and Blossom Creek Farm (BCF) have once again partnered together to create a returning seasonal blueberry liqueur, BLU, which is now available for its second year at Gervasi Vineyard. (more…)
