Spend a weekend surrounded by vineyards, exceptional wines, and world-class instruction at Wine Camp — a truly immersive experience for wine lovers of all levels. Held on the stunning grounds of Gervasi Vineyard and presented in partnership with the American Wine School, this exclusive retreat offers the rare opportunity to enjoy a luxury wine getaway and earn your WSET Level 1 Award in Wines certification.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the world’s leading provider of internationally recognized wine qualifications. As part of Wine Camp, participants will take part in structured, engaging instruction led by certified educators from the American Wine School. Through tastings, discussion, and interactive learning, you’ll explore:
- The main types and styles of wine common grape varieties and their key characteristics
- Wine storage and service best practices
- The principles of food and wine pairing
- How to describe wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting® (SAT)
At the conclusion of the weekend, you’ll take the official WSET Level 1 exam, a 30-question multiple choice test. Upon passing, you’ll receive a WSET certificate — a prestigious credential recognized worldwide in the wine and hospitality industries.
Weekend Schedule
Friday, March 13 - Welcome Dinner
- 6:30-8:30pm – Cave Dinner and Experience: Kick off the weekend in Gervasi’s underground wine cave with a beautiful antipasti display, four wine tastes and a tour of the barrel facility.
Saturday, March 14 - Learning & Exploration
- 7-8:15am – Enjoy breakfast at your leisure in room or at The Still House
- 8:45-9am – Welcome and Orientation
- 9am-12pm – WSET Level 1 Classroom Instruction in The Cave
- 12-1:30pm – Lunch in The Crush House
- 1:30-2:30pm – Guided Winery Tour and WSET Review
- 2:30-4pm – Wine and Food Pairing
- 4pm – Break
- 6:30-8:30pm – Family-Style Dinner and Wine Pairings in The Bistro
Sunday, March 15 - Certification
- 7-8:15am – Enjoy breakfast at your leisure in room or at The Still House
- 9-10am – Optional, Weather Dependent – Walking tour of South Vineyard
- 10:15am-12:15pm – WSET Level 1 Classroom Instruction
- 12:30-1:15pm – Official WSET Level 1 Exam

Cancellation Policy
- Should the reservation/booking be cancelled 30 days in advance of arrival date, a full refund (equal to total package) will be made.
- Should the reservation/booking be cancelled 15-29 days in advance of arrival date, guests will receive 50% refund.
- If the reservation/booking is canceled within 1-14 days prior to arrival date, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
