Live Music: Marc Lee Shannon

Marc Lee Shannon is a singer-songwriter from Ohio’s “North Coast.” A veteran studio and touring guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Shannon has performed with many well-known country, rock, and soul artists, most notably as a member of Michael Stanley’s band, the Resonators. For more than 25 years, Shannon provided guitar and mandolin accompaniment for Stanley’s live shows and 22 albums. In 2021 he shared the stage with Pat Benatar, Jonah Koslen, Blue Oyster Cult and was a featured performer in 3 sold-out shows honoring Stanley, his late bandmate close friend. His song “ Steady On” was voted Best Song in 2021 by The Canton Repository and was a feature cut on 2021’s Lucky 7, a collection of “fun, funky, pandemic-born songs” that showcase his southern soul influences.
