What is your favorite wine or bourbon? Or, how about your favorite happy hour spot or fine dining establishment?
People hold special feelings and a high regard for the people, places and activities they consider to be their favorites. Stark County has voted Gervasi Vineyard and The Twisted Olive as their 2021 favorites in many categories of the Best of the Best community choice awards from the Canton Repository, as well as the Local Faves reader’s picks sponsored by About Magazine.
Both of these highly followed and respected reader’s choice awards focus on the greater Canton community. Readers are asked to cast their vote for their favorite local businesses in categories such as beauty and health, entertainment and leisure, dining, services, shopping and more.
This year, more than 170,000 votes were tallied. The winners and finalists were announced in September, and GV Destinations were recognized in more than a dozen categories.
Stark County residents honor GV Destinations every time they celebrate life at the upscale winery resort and contemporary Italian-American restaurant. Year after year, loyal guests also take time out of their busy schedules to cast their votes in these prestigious contests.
“We’re always honored and humbled by recognition from our local community,” said Scott Swaldo, General Manager and CEO of GV Destinations. “The credit goes to our amazing staff for their passion and dedication every day to ensure our guests have a world-class experience.”
