Something special is always happening at Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa (GV). Each season brings on a long list of events, special wines, delectable foods, and lots of celebrations.
While anytime of the year is a great time to visit, summers at GV are on an entirely different level, starting with the landscape, which comes to life with bright colors with the splendor of flowers, bushes, and trees blooming across the property. Plus, there is one more place to dine at GV during the summer when The Piazza opens.
One of the summer events that many people await is the outdoor dining available with the opening of The Piazza, May 20 is the season opener this year. Even the family pups get to celebrate summer at GV and accompany their owners on The Piazza every Tuesday evening.
There are special summer wines, fine dining, and summer rejuvenating services at The Spa, as well as Wednesday evening Cruise In car shows and Thursday night live concerts. Plus, there are extra hours for shopping at The Marketplace. Tilt a swirl of just the right wines when enjoying tastings and tours at The Cave all summer long.
Summertime at The Piazza
The Piazza will be featuring live music and GV’s new Monday Happy Hour from 4–6 p.m. Happy Hour follows GV’s popular 5-2-1 format: $5 off select bottles of wine, $2 off all appetizers, $2 off select beers and cocktails, and $1 off glasses of wine.
While The Piazza does NOT accept reservations, guests can stop by the new express bar and enjoy a limited menu of beverages and snacks while waiting to be seated at The Piazza! The express bar is located between The Piazza and The Marketplace. The seating in this area is always available for guests to use.
Menu items include specialty pizzas, shareables including grilled chicken nachos, meat and cheese plates and much more. Try the variety of handheld sandwiches, including the favored GV lobster roll and GV burgers, sides, and don’t forget to try the scrumptious desserts.
Drinks served on The Piazza include summer favorites such as Blu Mojito, Margaritas, the amazing Piazza Sangria, lavender Lemonade, Bourbon Honey Peach Tea, GV craft beer, the Piazza wine List and many more.
Many Favorites Returning this Summer
This summer, many favorite activities will be returning such as Wellness Tuesdays, GV’s classic Wednesday Cruise-Ins, and the Thursday concert series is a short list of what is happening this summer at Gervasi.
Additionally, The Marketplace gift shop will be extending its hours for the summer and will now be open on Mondays from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
